This Monday marks not only a new week but a new month. It also means I am back to work, even if it is from home it brings it's own challenges with a newborn and I will be going back to my gym for the first time since I was 25 weeks pregnant.
That is a lot of firsts for a Monday morning! In terms of fitness, as I have mentioned before, I feel as though I am starting over. My nerves for my first post-baby group fitness class are similar to the first day of school. Thankfully I have two of my girlfriends who will be there with me and will no doubt be giving me an extra boost of motivation when I am modifying in the corner trying not to pee my pants from all of the jumping jacks and bouncing around ( my bladder/pelvic floor is still recovering)
The most difficult part for me will be coming to terms with the fact that I am not even close to the shape I was pre-pregnancy but I will be, in time. A big part of this will be focusing on what I can do and not what I can't, self love people that is what it's all about.
For now I am off to tackle this new day and I will report back with how things went tomorrow.
