It's amazing what a new job/new schedule can do for someone. Having some extra time in the morning plus a shorter commute is making me happier then I have been in a long time.
I was able to take kickboxing before work yesterday. That has never happened.
I cut out 10 minutes early to shower because I wasn't sure if I was going to have enough time to get ready and make it to work on time, but I did.
I am really starting to see changes with my body, mostly because I am changing up my workouts every week. The 5 am classes I have been taking [when I actually get up] are doing a number on my muscles. I am able to see myself leaning out for the first time....ever, which is enough motivation for me to wake my booty up and get there.
This morning I took a 45 minute arms and abs class at 5:15 then stayed for 30 minutes of cardio before calling it a morning.
On my drive home I decided I wanted to make oatmeal with chocolate zico in place of water for added electrolytes and deliciousness, however I got a little crazy with my ingredients and this happened:
I added a scoop of chocolate egg protein powder in with the oats, coconut water and a splash of almond milk and it resulted in the perfect oatmeal bowl
Since there was a hole to fill I figured the best option would be peanut butter[ I would have used almond butter but I am ::gasp:: all out] and let me tell you, this was welcomed mistake.

Okay kids it's time for me to kick myself into high gear and get ready for work!
