Ranch Chips-Heart Project-New Workout

Good morning and Happy Monday!
Yes, I said Happy Monday...don't hate me okay?

Before I get into my post for today I need to give a shout out to my friend Brian aka Pavement Runner for being one of the nicest people I have ever met, even if it's only been virtually.
This MUST change.

Mr. Pavement Runner reached out to a bunch of bloggers last week to gather pictures for the We Heart You project. Our friend family member Krsyten[ Darwinian Fail] is having "robot heart" surgery this week and he wanted to send her some extra love from all of us.
I told you he was the nicest person.
The post went live this morning and I must admit I cried. I am so thankful he included me and if I was able to contribute some extra love/happiness to Krystens day.

This morning I was up by 4 am for absolutely no reason other then things were on my mind. I'll tell ya this brain of mine never shuts off. I didn't feel like driving myself to the gym this morning so I decided to try out Fitness Glo which is a website full of workout videos for all levels and had both strength training and cardio to choose from.

I went with a 45 minute cardio video on the hardest level the website offers.

I ended up modifying a lot of the moves to make them more intense because the pace of the workout was much slower then I am used to.

After 30 minutes I called it quits and got ready for work
Not a bad burn for 5 am on a Monday morning right?

The good thing about this particular workout is it introduced me to a few new moves which is always good. I will be trying a few more of these videos out before giving a full review+ GIVEAWAY on the service so stay tuned for that!

I did my Sunday meal prep yesterday and I have to say I am really looking forward to my lunches this week.

Mini buffalo chicken meatloaves, adapted from this Iowa Girl Eats recipe with roasted brussels and ranch sweet potato "chips" as a side.

What's that you say?
You want the recipe for the chips?

Okay, okay here it is.

1 sweet potato
1/4 packet of ranch dip mix
Coconut Oil

Using a mandolin or a really sharp knife cut the sweet potato into thin slices.
Drizzle coconut oil on top then sprinkle ranch dip mix on top of that.
Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes then broil on HI for 5 minutes.

Easy and delicious.

Tonight is the Biggest Loser! Who else is excited?
Who do you think is going home?

I hope it's Jeff.

Tune in tomorrow for my recap of tonights episode--- NO SPOILERS of who is voted off the ranch, I promise.
