Another whirlwind weekend has come and gone, however this one has left me with a sore throat and stuffy nose :( Taking a much needed relax day.
After dinner I wanted to go to the book store for a new beach/commute read. Mom and Eddie were more than happy to tag along, so that made it even better.
I ended up buying two, the left I have heard rave reviews about.. and once I heard it was similar to The Hunger Games(which I LOVED) I couldn't resist. The right is supposed to be similar to Fifty Shades of Grey (which I also LOVED) so it will be interesting to see how these compare.
I felt completely drained when I woke up Saturday morning. I had to drag myself out of bed for Jump & Drill, which is unusual for me.
I sweat right through my new lululemon tank!
I didn't push myself as hard as I normally do in the class, but still got a great workout/calorie burn.
After the gym I had to quickly get ready because Eddie and I were spending the day looking at wedding halls.
Little did we know the first hall we saw, would be the last.
We fell in love almost immediately with the place, and once Eddie saw the menu and I heard free personal wedding planner... we were sold.
September 1,2013 we will become Mr & Mrs! Let the planning begin!
After picking our hall we had a celebratory lunch, I was so hungry I forgot to photograph my veggie burger and fries. Whoops!

Then I went for a mani & spa pedicure.
2 hours of pure bliss!
Saturday night was spent starting my new project, watching the vow and having ice cream sundaes!
It was absolutely beautiful Sunday morning, so I decided to ride my bike to the gym rather than drive.
I loved it! I really want to make a habit of this for Sunday mornings. On Saturday I bring my kickpad to Jump & Drill so I'm not sure riding my bike would be the easiest task.
Kickboxing was grueling. We did over 150 jump squats within the first twenty minutes! But, I left the class on an endorphin high, smiley and happy with my sweat session.
On the bike ride home I was enjoying my neighborhood...smelling the honeysuckles and singing along to payphone, when I hit a bump and my phone face-planted on the pavement.
Sunday afternoon we had graduation lunch for my two cousins at a delicious Italian restaurant. I, again, forgot to take pictures of my food... I blame the Pinot Grigio but I had a yummy pasta and broccoli dish!
After the graduation party Eddie and I were off to his cousins wedding!
It was beautiful, right on a golf course. It was nice to see his side of the family, especially because we don't get to that often.
I LOVED our place card. I found myself staring at it several times throughout the night.
Another great weekend in the books!
Looking forward to spending next weekend on the beach.
No plans, just sun.
