Fitness Friday!

Happy Friday Sweaties!!!



This morning I am super sore, but it feels great. Lauren and I decided we wanted to try the new Tone It Up "She sells seashells by the seashore" workout because it wasn't intense cardio or anything that required jumping.

After we did the workout once through we used the machines. I used the row, shoulder press and hip adduction/abduction

Even though I didn't leave the gym winded and dripping sweat, I still feel like I got a great workout in especially because I pushed myself with the weights

nice! I am still trying to get into running, I just haven't found that LOVE for it yet

I love your video recaps, but just wondering why you would do weights after yesterday's workout? Sounds like it was a strength workout and I'd think you'd need at least a day of recovery. If you do the same muscle groups two days in a row, you're missing all that time for your muscles to rebuild stronger than before. That's part of training you can't skip! If you're sore that means your muscles want to rebuild...you won't see the same kind of progress if you don't give them that time! :)
Also, sorry this is full of so much not asked for advice :) but you're better off skipping the hip abductors/addutors machines and doing a more functional movement like standing leg lifts/ sumo squats/ etc.
