Mile A Day Challenge-W.I.O.W!

HAPPY WORK IT OUT WEDNESDAY!


My 5k has changed me. It has made me re-think my workouts and my routine, it has made me want to push myself even further.

On Sunday I ran 3.2 miles
On Tuesday morning I walked 1.32, on the treadmill on an incline before my sculpt class

While reading  http://sweat-sparkles.tumblr.com/ yesterday afternoon and saw this picture:


Then I thought to myself... why couldn't I add a #mileaday to my workouts? 

Here's the plan:
Add 1 mile a day to your workout. 
For example before your fitness class-run,walk,skip,lunge,bike 1 mile. 
I don't care how you do it, just do it!

 I AM ONLY ASKING FOR A MILE!
It will take no more than 15-20 minutes out of your day!


Rest Day?  
Walk a mile.


Don't want to do an entire mile at one time?
NO PROBLEM!
 Break it up into 1/4's or 1/2's 
I don't care how you do it, JUST DO IT.

There is no time frame for this "challenge."
 I plan on making it part of my daily life, and I will be holding myself accountable on twitter and facebook using #mileaday.

Have a pet?
Get them involved! They would love a mile walk everyday!
