Sweat It Out- Round 1

Not sure what to do for a workout today?
Tired of the same old routine?

I've got you covered:

HIIT Elliptical Workout:
5 minute warm up on resistance level of 10 or 11(whatever you can handle)
drop resistance down to 7 or 8 (whatever you can handle) and sprint backwards for 1/4 mile
bring resistance back up to 10 or 11 and go forwards for a 1/4 mile
-Alternate these movements for 2 miles-
On mile 3 alternate every 1/10 of a mile

This cardio workout will take 30 minutes or less AND have you SWEATING!

(This was post elliptical/pre-strength training)

In addition to or instead of that you can do these workouts:

Without Weights
25 situps/crunches
Wall sit for :30 seconds
25 pushups, either on toes or knees
25 squat jacks
Hold a plank for :30-:60 seconds
depending on what YOU can handle, but push yourself!

 With Hand Weights
50 bicep curls, 25 on each arm, broken down into 2 sets of 10 and one set of 5
dead lifts, 3 sets of 10, no less than 5 lb hand weights
25 bent over row
50 lateral raises, 25 on each side

Sweat it Out!

    1. Checked out your site, congrats on your awards and success so far! Love the color scheme as well. The elliptical should not cause you any knee discomfort, they are usually suggested for people with any leg, knee, ankle issues..maybe the resistance is too high OR you do not have the proper shoes? But either way let me know how the workout goes, tweet me or email me a pic!
