Hump Day- and my FIRST FitVlog!!

I keep surprising myself!

As soon as my alarm went off at 4:30 this morning, I (literally) hopped out of bed and was excited for my workout. I wasn't even taking a specific class, in fact there were no classes at that time. I knew I was going to do the HIIT elliptical routine I came up on Monday and then just wing the rest.

I walked in the gym and one of my favorite instructors was working the desk, and the first thing out of her mouth was:
 "Here for ViPR class?"

Because she knew before I had signed up for that class I would never dream of being in the gym that early.
But I told her "Nope, here all on my own."

She responded with "You have lost a lot of weight recently, and I've noticed. You look beautiful and I am proud."

....Talk about an ego boost!

On the elliptical I pushed myself even harder than Monday, and shaved 1:30 off of my 5k time!
Lauren even tried it and felt the burn!

Check out that SWEAT!
I was SO thrilled that I was the reason I sweat so much, it was another confidence booster!
Also, I had to make a tough/funny face inbetween my elliptical workout and deadlifts/push ups, haha.

Snapped this photo post weights/ marchabness /push ups

I had SUCH an amazing workout this morning...I left the gym feeling accomplished.

And then this happened:

Yep! I filmed my 1st FITVLOG! I've been wanting to do YouTube videos for a really long time.
This one is short and sweet, shot on my iPhone. However, I studied television production in college and know how to edit pretty well so I cannot WAIT to put those skills to use.

I have a lot  many great video ideas, so make sure you subscribe and let me know on the comments below what YOU would like to see! :)

Happy Hump Day!

Just Keep Sweating

  2. Oh my goodness, I am so happy I stumbled upon your blog. I'm not sure if you remember me from spark people- I am Jackie, the girl from Blue Point. I hardly use the site anymore but was on yesterday and thought I would see what you have been up to. I got so excited when I saw all of the great things you are doing! First of all, it seems like you are such an inspiration to so many. Secondly, you are fit and look SO awesome! You are doing it girl and I am so happy for you! I was shocked when I saw how involved you are with your blog and I will definitely be checking in on it more often. I'm happy to share I am down to 145 pounds and have 10 to go. It took me longer than I expected to lose the 40+ pounds but I wanted to focus on practicing maintenance throughout my journey. It has probably been two years since we talked but I had to comment and congratulate you on all of your success!
