Preparation is the key!

Last Sunday was the first time in a long time I did not food shop for the week or prep my meals.
As a result I have not eaten properly: I haven't overindulged in junk food or anything like that, but I haven't had healthy, balanced meals either. 

For example this was my dinner Tuesday night:

As you can see there are practically 0 veggies, and very little protein.

People are always asking for weight loss tips and want to know how I have lost forty pounds:

So how do I do it?

Sunday morning: I plan what meals I want to make for the week.
When I food shop:I make sure I stock up on lots of veggies, proteins, greek yogurt, and most importantly dark chocolate :)
 Sunday afternoon: I batch cook, mostly breakfasts and lunches for work plus dinner for that night.
Usually I'll be baking chicken in the oven while making protein pancakes or breakfast quinoa on the stovetop
Multitasking at it's best.
It never takes longer than 2-3 hours to make 10 meals (5 breakfast/5 lunch) but it makes all the difference.

Do you prep for the week in advance or take your meals day by day?
