Fearing the shredmill workout & my progress

I have been meaning to post my Hungry Girl inspired Stuffed Squash recipe since Sunday, I had it all planned to type out today at work (on my lunch break of course) and emailed all of the pretty food pictures I took to my work email.

....or so I thought...

In the midst of my chaotic morning routine ( I swear no matter how prepared I am, I am never prepared) I forgot to hit send on my email.

recipe fail for the third day in a row.

So instead I am going to share my workout I will be doing tonight with all of you, in hopes that you will try it yourselves.. 

Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you the Tone It Up: SHREDMILL WORKOUT

  • 30 squat jacks
  • 30 tummy tucks
  • 30 burpees
  • Sprint 2:00 minutes
  • 20 squat jacks
  • 20 tummy tucks
  • 20 burpees
  • Sprint 1:00 minute
  • 30 squat jacks
  • 30 tummy tucks
  • 30 burpees
  • Sprint 2:00 minutes
  • 20 squat jacks
  • 20 tummy tucks
  • 20 burpees
  • Sprint 1:00 minute
**Remember.. sprints can be ran outside or on the treadmill.. on your bike or an exercise bike.. on a stepmill or cross trainer!


Intimidating right? I am really not looking forward to this challenge/workout/hell but I am not shying away from it either. I will be lacing up my sneakers and hitting the yoga room to torture myself tonight. I may switch out the sprints for jumping rope and then do the treadmill after the challenge. I'll let you know how this goes tomorrow.. if I survive that is.

Since starting the Tone It Up lifestyle plan last week I have lost 3 pounds and have gained a lot of energy,and nutrition knowledge. I feel better than I have in a long time, which makes it all worth it.
Some of my gym buddies/good friends have also joined, and I couldn't be happier! I love surrounding myself with people who share the same interests because it keeps me that much more on track. 
I encourage every one of you to give it a try, don't let the cost scare you off because you have to remember it is a LIFETIME membership!
