What a week

So I know I told you about my "Manic Monday," but the week just continued on its crazy path as the days went on.
Tuesday was my scheduled rest day, so after work I came home had family dinner and caught up on True Blood & Curb Your Enthusiasm with my fiance.

Is it me or is this season of Curb the best yet?
How SEXY is Eric Northman?
Wednesday was Week 5 Day 2 of Couch to 5k, which went a little like this:

2 minute warm up
Run/Jog for 8 minutes
Walk for 5
Run/Jog for 8 minutes

It wasn't as difficult as I had expected it to be, partly because I ran through my neighborhood for the first time in the 15+ years we have lived here. I am starting to understand how people say running can clear your mind, I just can't get myself to the place of looking forward to running. After I completed my training for the day I felt great and lifted weights in the basement and had an amazing grilled chicken greek salad for dinner.

Thursday is Kickboxing day... one of my favorite workout days. However this week I was offered a free ticket to the Jets/Eagles game and couldn't resist. I was definitely a little sad I would be missing my workout BUT life can't revolve around the gym!
The game was so much fun, who cares that the starters didn't play and the Jets ended up loosing? I spent time with my friends who I haven't seen in months and that is always a great feeling :)
Here are a few pictures I took on my phone because OF COURSE this was the one day I didn't have my actual camera.
Such is life.

Walking into the stadium as the sun was setting
I wasn't sure when I would have the opportunity to go to another game so I purchased a souveniour cup. I was a superfan that night.
 Our view

We didn't get home until after midnight and I had to be up by 5:30 to get ready for work.

That wasn't fun.
I wish I was able to fall asleep on the train but I am one of those people once I'm awake no matter how tired I am I cannot go back to sleep.

Friday was early close at work and I took full advantage!
My fiance and I took our boys for a nice walk when I got home then hit Happy Hour at one of our favorite bars where I had this:

My first pumpkin beer of the 2011 season.
My fiance and I have been tasting different pumpkin beers for the past 3 years and this one right here is my new favorite.
For those wondering it's Greenport Harbor "Leaf Pile"
I also love the name!

Fast forward to 9:30pm Friday night.
Eddie and three girls, myself included dancing to Pitbull's Shake Senora in the car on the way to the bar.

We played cards, drank and danced until 2 am.

Have you ever noticed that the nights you don't want to go out, you have the best time?

Now we've reached Saturday, it's already noon and I've had what feels like a full day.
I was up and in the gym by 8:45 bouncing around & lifting weights in Interval Training as if I wasn't a little hungover.

Which I was.

Came home, showered, ran a few errands and now it's time to start my anniversary fesitivies.
That's right today is 4 years with my soon to be husband.
I cannot believe how fast the time has gone and how truly blessed I am to have him in my life, for the rest of my life. He is my best friend and partner in crime. There is no one else I would rather spend my time with then him.

How are we celebrating???

Taking our boys to the Dog Park and then dinner at Bestito's  (mexican) which I have been dying to try!! I will let you know how it is in my next post!

Happy Labor Day Weekend Everyone!!!
