Pretty Lazy Weekend

Another weekend come and gone but at least I have some photos to remember what I did!

I woke up early and full of energy which is a rare occurrence these days so I took full advantage of it and ran some necessary errands.
First stop was Home Goods where I found a few odds and ends for Molly's room.

I picked up this laundry hamper to use as toy or blanket storage. I love the quote and that it has touches of pink, perfect for our little girl!

I am planning on doing a few pictures/quotes above her crib and I knew I wanted an M for that area so when I saw this I grabbed it. I'm not sure if we will keep it just yet but with Home Goods you have to buy things as you see them or they're gone forever!

At the moment I am planning on using this on top of her dresser as part of her changing station. So I'll fill it with some diapers, lotions, wipes, etc.

After Home Goods I was starving, so I popped into Einstein Brothers for a bagel and some water. Man do I miss NY bagels. There is just nothing that compares to them!

Once I felt properly refueled I tackled my last store of the day which was of course, Target. I only had a few things on my list: Scrubbing Bubbles, paint brushes, rolls aka too boring so I strayed a bit.

I stumbled across this almond butter and didn't think twice before adding it to my cart. I had it this morning for breakfast on my English muffin and it was so good.

I also ran out of my Honest Co. prenatal vitamins and when I was grabbing another bottle I was so excited to finally find the Healthy Mama protein drinks I have seen all over Instagram lately.
I plan on bringing one with me to Tabata tonight to have right after class so I'll report back with my thoughts later this week!

Between shopping all morning and the heat I was exhausted by the time I got back home in the early afternoon so I made myself some lunch (which I don't remember because I didn't take a picture #PreggoBrain) and started watching Wet Hot American Summer the series on Netflix.

As someone who has been a fan of the movie since it first came out I had high hopes for this show and it did not disappoint. My only complaint was that 8 episodes was far too short for a season!

I ended my day with some take out on the couch with Eddie while watching the Mets beat the Nationals in game 2 of their series.

It was back to business as usual on Sunday meaning lazy morning with a side of tiredness. I enjoyed my one cup of coffee on the couch while watching some YouTube videos before the boys and I went for our morning walk. Thankfully they were feeling just as lazy as me so we waited until almost 10 am to start our day.

In the early afternoon I ran out to a few stores in hopes of finding some comfy lounge/sweatpants but unfortunately I came up short and found absolutely nothing at four different places.

I spent the majority of the day watching TV, mainly to stay out of the heat it's just too much for me these days. So I watched the Blind Side (never gets old) until Eddie woke up and he requested we order Chinese take out for Big Brother.

I went with my usual, Veggie lo-mien and wonton soup. Boring, but satisfying.

And can we talk about Big Brother for a second?! OMG best episode of the season so far! I am so glad James pulled that power move and I cannot wait for Wednesday+Thursday to see how it all plays out!

All in all it was a pretty laid back and chilled out weekend but I will take them while I can because in a few short months I don't think I'll have them anymore.
