Augusta Sportswear Review + Giveaway!

Happy Wednesday!
What better way to celebrate "hump day" than with a giveaway.

Now that I work from home I have found myself living in my workout clothes. They're comfortable, but functional and I love mixing and matching all of my old and new gear together to revamp my outfits.
Some people may not care about how their gym outfit looks/matches but I am a firm believer that if you look good, you feel good and it will enhance your workout.

Last week I received this outfit from my friends at Augusta Sportswear and was literally tickled pink at the sight of it.

The top was perfect for layering over my tank tops and is light enough that it can be warn almost all year round and the capris were perfect. I prefer my gym pants to come up a little higher (and these do) because I suffer from "pants falling down" syndrome when I am bouncing around in my Tabata and Boxing classes, thankfully that wasn't an issue with these!

They also sent me a gym bag which I have been using everyday for the last week. I love the color combination and all of the hidden pockets, both inside and out.

My favorite feature of this bag is the zippered shoe pocket. On Tuesdays I take boxing and spin back to back so having this feature has made bringing my gloves, jump rope, wraps and spin gear so much easier!

However, Augusta doesn't only cater to us ladies, they have lots of cool fitness apparel for men too!

Augusta Sportswear wants to share the love, so one lucky guy and gal will win a large active kit to keep you looking cool during your workout or to and from the gym.
*Styles and colors vary from the picture above

The giveaway is for US residents only and will end on January 25th.

Good Luck!

My 5 Favorite Healthy Snacks

Last week I shared one of my latest snack obsessions over on my Facebook page. The response was so overwhelming I wanted to share a few other mini meals I have been grabbing lately. All five of these snacks are not only healthy but they're portable, so you can bring them to work OR toss them in your bag for an eating break while getting lost in Target for hours.
We all do it.

First up is the snack that inspired this post, homemade Spinach chips.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Lay a bunch of spinach on a baking sheet
Drizzle with olive oil
Season with your favorite spices
Bake for 5-7 minutes, until brown

I have made these everyday for two weeks straight and I am never disappointed!

I am no stranger to green juice whether it's homemade or store bought I love them all. Target recently started carrying the Suja Essentials line and I almost always have the MIGHTY GREENS in my fridge. I try to start my day with one of these but they're also great to have in my bag for a post workout pick me up.

I never leave the house without a Quest bar. At the moment I have one in my gym bag, pocketbook and in my car. I refuse to ever let myself go hungry and these are my absolute favorite go to protein packed snacks. Last night Quest Nutrition posted a recipe for "S'Mores Magic Protein Bars" which I plan to make later today, I am just swapping out their protein for my Cellucor S'Mores for added awesomeness.

These are the newest addition to my snack family. I discovered these at Trader Joe's this past Friday and at the time only picked up one bag because I wasn't sure how I would like them.
I ate them during the Glee premiere that night, and promptly returned to Trader Joe's Saturday morning after boxing and bought 6 more bags.

Move over hummus and carrots there is a new sheriff in town. My obsession with sugar snap peas is in full force right now, I just love these little guys. Then I paired them with 100 calorie Avocado Ranch Wholly Guacamole [That's a mouthful, get it?] and it was all over.

Last but not least, Spinach and Kale bites from Trader Joes. These little guys are always in my freezer and whenever I have guests over they are a must-serve appetizer. They are light enough to have as a snack but they also make a delicious side dish for dinner. If you haven't tried them I recommend picking them up the next time you find yourself in the frozen section at TJ's!

There you have it my top 5 healthy snacks of the moment. What are yours?

Caffeine On The Go!

Hey Guys! Happy New Year!

I had every intention of blogging way before the second week of January but somehow time slipped by without me even realizing. However, I am back with something really exciting to share with all of you so that kind of makes up for my lack of posting as of late.

A few weeks ago I was introduced to a new product, Caffeinated Club. For those of you who know me beyond the blog or have watched our videos you have probably picked up on the fact that I LOVE seltzer/club soda. I prefer to drink it over anything, besides coffee, because I cannot function without it. However, Caffeinated Club takes my two favorite beverages and combines them into one awesome product!

Caffeinated Club is a flavored club soda with a boost of caffeine which is a great alternative for soda drinks looking to give up sugar and artificial sweeteners. It's also great for coffee drinkers, like me because it is portable, just toss it in your bag for a boost of caffeine while you're on the go!

Unfortunately, it's not available in any stores in my area (yet) so I've had to order it online BUT there is free shipping on all orders in the United States, so that makes it a bit easier on the wallet.

Caffeinated Club comes in four flavors: Clear Club Soda, Lemon,Orange Grapefruit, and Raspberry.
All of which are delicious, my favorite is a toss up between the Raspberry and the Orange Grapefruit, both of which I drink in a wine glass with lots of ice... because I am classy like that.

If you're interested in trying my new favorite drink you can order here: Caffeinated Club

What is your favorite beverage?
