Scary Times

Life seems to slowly getting back to normal.
We still have no power or gas at our home, but flooding has receded in our neighborhood.
My town is still shut down as of now, but hoping that will change by the end of day today.

For now I am posted up at a family friends home with my parents watching the news and it is devastating.
Some people have lost absolutely everything and my heart goes out to them all.

New Yorkers are resilient but this is beyond us all.
Gas and food shortages are increasing everyday.
This morning I went to 7-11 for coffee for the family and they are running out of milk, eggs, bread.
It is crazy what is going on.

It's scary not knowing when we will be able to food shop for fresh meat/milk again, or when gas will be available.

It's scary not knowing when LIFE will be back to normal.

On the flip side the way people have come together and are helping one another is incredible.
I remember this after 9/11 and it's nice to see that we can put differences aside in a time of need.

Everyday things improving, even if only a little, it counts.

Please continue to keep Long Island,New York and New Jersey in your prayers.
