Declaring *MY* Independence update #2

Its time for my second "Declaring MY Independence" update!

This months update was pushed back a day, due to the long weekend/holiday.
Even though I am posting this late I took the pictures on the 4th..NO CHEATING HERE!

If you are new here WELCOME! I am so happy to have you :)

On July 4th I declared my independence from food that does not fuel my body.
I wanted to refocus on my workouts, and eating clean.

 August was the hardest month for me I was partying a lot, BBQs/Birthdays,etc.
Drinking became a weekly event [not complaining, YOLO] and even though I was keeping up with my workouts you can see how my body reacted to my eating in the picture above.

When comparing the 3 pictures side by side, I do see a difference from July 4th to September 4th

My waist is smaller, as is my pooch.
I will always be a work in progress,but slow and steady wins the race.

With my torn meniscus I am being forced into changing my workout routine, yet again. But I welcome the change because I know that confusing my body/muscles always works for me.
Running was really helping me lose inches so I am definitely bummed that is on the back burner for now, but I will be lifting more so hopefully I'll find a new love in that.
AND I will be sharing new circuits, more often.
