Declaring *MY* Independence-UPDATE #1

 On the fourth of July I declared independence from my body.

I set a goal for myself really focus on getting back to eating clean, at least 90% of the time.
On the 4th of every month I am taking progress pictures to see my changes, because as you all know I do not believe in living by the number on a scale.

 I had a rough day a few weeks ago.  Thanks to all of your support, along with changing my routine up I am feeling better then before.


I did weigh myself before taking this months pictures just to see if there was any weight change, either way I wasn't going to let it affect me.

My stomach has slimmed down. It is nowhere near what I want it to look, but I wasn't expecting amazing results in just 30 days.

However, I am happy with my progress. My waist is much smaller and from the side I can tell a difference.
Running has definitely been a welcome change to both my body and my routine. I think that is part of why the inches seem to be just melting away.

The next 30 days I am going to kick it up a notch and continue to stay on course. I want to incorporate 2 lifting days into my routine, it's just a matter of finding the time.

For those of you who are wondering about my weigh in:

I was UP one pound.
