5k Madness & This weeks workout plan




Now that I have spent the morning catching up on work I can share some fun news with all of you!

I was going through emails this morning and came across a LivingSocial deal. Normally I would delete it (there are too many *deal* emails) but I saw MUD RUN 5K and knew I had to open it.



Turns out it is on Long Island, only 40 minutes from my hometown and it is c-h-e-a-p.
$35 to be exact.

So what did I do?
 I asked the girls if they were interested.
I already knew they would say yes, so I bought my entry before asking...always making smart decisions.

In just two weeks we will be climbing rope walls, jumping through tires and running through the mud together. Well, they will be running and I'll cling to a leg. Hopefully it's a leg of someone I know, OR I will just stay in the rope climb, and pretend I am part of the course...either way, it will be fun.



Speaking of fun 5ks
 The Color Run is *this* Saturday!
 
 Clearly I am on a roll signing up for runs that get me messy.
I didn't think about the bugs that may be involved in the mud run and now I am regretting this decision.
 

The Dirty Sock 10k was yesterday, and I ended up skipping it due to my knee.
It is feeling better then last week but still not 100%. I've decided to take it extra easy this week so I can enjoy the color run with the girls on Saturday.

As you can see I am still trying to make the 5 am bootcamp class... it has been 6 weeks of trying and failing.
Who thinks I can make it this Wednesday?

Yea, I don't think so either...but a girl can dream.
