Feelin' on top of the world




Last night after Power X I was FULL of energy. 
I don't know what is going on with me lately but I like it.



Post Power X meal!

 Actually I do, I have changed my eating habits.
Focusing on clean meals really gives me extra endurance, in all aspects of life.
....late afternoon coffee yesterday helped as well...



While I had my egg protein powder out, I decided I should be proactive and make my S'Mores overnight oats for breakfast today.

It was SO chocolatey today, I will be using smaller containers like the one above much more often.




After I had dinner and prepped breakfast I said, what the heck lets make lunch too.
Then I realized I didn't have any black beans for my mexican quinoa salad.
Off to the store I went...
In boxers, a hoodie, no bra and fancy flops.
Yes people were staring
No I didn't care.
No they couldn't tell I was bra-less...I promise.


The salad came out PERFECT:

Mexican Quinoa
serves 2
1 cup cooked quinoa
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 avocado, diced
3 grape tomatoes, diced
cilantro, however much you'd like
juice of one lime
1/2 of one shallot, chopped

Combine all ingredients
Drizzle lime juice on top
Stir
Eat

I finally climbed into bed around 9 pm, and caught up on a bunch of blog reading while simultaneously participating in the crossfit twitter chat.
 It was almost 10 when I realized I didn't do my #plankaday.
 ugh
Forced myself out of bed, onto the yoga mat and got to work.

 3 days and I have increased my time by 32 seconds!



I am LOVING the response on my post from earlier today.
I took this picture this morning, before posting and thought it really went with the theme of the day.

Okay off to kickboxing!
