As you may have seen on Facebook or Twitter this morning, our house is completely out of peanut butter. How this happened is as difficult to figure out as a rubik's cube.
We LIVE on peanut butter.
So in the middle of my morning rush I had to invent a new shake on the fly, luckily, it worked out.
Chocolate Covered Almond Shake
1 cup almond milk
1 T all natural almond butter (Trader Joe's brand)
1 T flax seed, ground
1/2 small banana
2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder (also Trader Joe's)
Throw it all in the blender, blend and enjoy!
P.S Between you and me... I liked it better than my shakes with peanut butter
